Eaon vs Conductor
The free, open-source Conductor alternative
Run Claude Code, Codex and other agents side by side in git worktrees, on macOS, Windows or Linux, without a subscription.
In short
Conductor is a polished Mac app that puts a chat interface over Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and OpenCode, with checkpoints, diff review, a pull request page, cloud workspaces and an iOS app. Cloud workspaces, routines and team features come with its paid plans, from $50 a month.
Eaon is free and open source, runs on Windows and Linux as well as macOS, and runs your agents in real terminals rather than a chat view. It also has Chat for any model, local models and always-on Workers in the same app. If you want cloud workspaces or a phone app today, Conductor has them and Eaon doesn't.
